IICPE 2018 is being organized under the aegis of IEEE PES-IAS Delhi Chapter as well as IEEE PELS-IES Delhi Chapter from December 13th to 15th, 2018 at Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur. The conference is co-sponsored by MNIT. It aims to provide a premier platform for electrical engineers, researchers, scientists and academician in universities, research centers and industry to present their work and to share experiences and ideas in the areas of power electronics, and its applications in drives, transportation and railway electric traction, power system operation and control, smart grid, HVDC, FACTS etc. In view of the changing scenario under restructured power system, drives and transportation, the conference aims to put together the experts from these areas to disseminate their knowledge and experience for working towards smart grid and energy sustainability in the years to come.

Furthermore, as IICPE 2018 is sponsored by IEEE IAS Society, exemplary papers may be recommended for publication in IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications.

About MNIT

Malaviya National Institute of Technology is one of the premier NITs of India, fully funded by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. The institute was established in 1963 with the name as Malaviya Regional Engineering College, Jaipur as a joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Rajasthan, Subsequently; on June 26, 2002 the college has been given the status of National Institute of Technology and on 15 August 2007, Proclaimed Institute of National Importance through Act of Parliament. Plan., M.Sc., MBA and Ph.D.) programmes to about 4500 students in leading field of Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Management and Sciences. The institute is actively engaged in research, consultancy and developmental activities, beside imparting regular teaching. More than 12,000 students have already been graduated since its establishment.
